INKspired

Our Mission

At INKspired, we empower children by fostering creativity, enhancing literacy, and transforming spaces into vibrant hubs for learning. Our mission is two-fold: Hands on literacy programming and educational advocacy. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, we combine creative literacy programs such as writing camps and workshops, with civic engagement where children learn to advocate for equitable access to educational resources. Our secondary goal is to partner with the real estate community and policy makers, with the goal of reimagining community and multi-family housing spaces to bridge the gap between literacy and opportunity—building a brighter future, one story at a time.

Our Mission

Writing Programs

Our immersive camps and workshops are designed for children ages 7-12. Aspiring writers will learn the art of storytelling, from brainstorming ideas to learning the basics of self-publishing. Each child leaves with a story and the basic knowledge to self-publish their book, enhancing their confidence and literacy skills. We also incorporate a civics writing activity into each camp. Camps/workshops can be customized based on age, timing, and educational needs. Our programming will include daily creative writing workshops, peer editing, and a civics component. Book publishing sessions are available where time and computer resources are available.

Educational Advocacy

We aim to bridge gaps in literacy and opportunity, transforming spaces into vibrant hubs for learning, where creativity thrives, and stories come to life. By partnering with schools, libraries, community centers, interior designers, and real estate developers, our goal is to create learning spaces that promote literacy which will translate to lasting change for children and their communities.

"Write about what really interests you, whether it is real things or imaginary things, and nothing else."
— C.S. Lewis
